Built for operators who cannot risk charging guesswork
RideBlitz began in Jakarta, where we saw fleet coordinators manage charge queues in group chats while drivers waited.
The gap was in decisions, not vehicles
In 2023, we observed Jakarta EV fleet operators coordinating charge queues through WhatsApp groups and spreadsheets.
With incomplete battery data, dispatch coordinators guessed at next-day demand when setting charges. Vehicles reached shifts half-charged, while off-peak windows went unused because no one was awake to manage them.
Operators were not making bad decisions, but fast ones with inadequate tools. We built RideBlitz to handle in milliseconds what once took hours of manual coordination.
The old way: group-chat queues
Coordinators pinged drivers in group chats to plug in. Off-peak windows went unnoticed. Vehicles reached peak demand partially charged.
The new way: AI scheduling
Overnight, RideBlitz reads battery state, tariff windows, and predicted trip demand, then assigns each vehicle a charge slot around its next dispatch window.
What changes: better dispatch
Early-access operators cut charging spend by shifting load off-peak and no longer sent drivers home empty.
The RideBlitz team
Two co-founders spanning fleet logistics and distributed systems.
Background in fleet-operations systems and logistics scheduling. Focused on the dispatch coordination gap.
Background in distributed systems, real-time data pipelines, and EV charging infrastructure APIs. Built RideBlitz's core data ingestion and scheduling engine.
Three principles we protect
These are working constraints, not slogans.
Operator-first
We measure success through fleet uptime and energy cost, not feature count. If it does not help coordinators, we do not build it.
Honest data
No black-box scores. Operators can see why a vehicle received a charging slot and which inputs changed the dispatch queue. Explainability is required.
Grounded in Jakarta
Built for PLN time-of-use tariff structure and Indonesian ride-hailing demand patterns. Generic fleet software ignores local grid realities and fails Jakarta operators. We do.
Bootstrapped discipline
We are not spending investor capital for rapid growth. We are building a reliable product for fleet operators that works on day one. Constraints make us better.
